Dr. Mick and his staff were, hands down, the best in the Tampa area! Don’t get me wrong I have had excellent experiences with other dentistries however nothing compared to my experience here! Not only were they gentle (I have a low pain tolerance) they were very personal and efficient! They went above and beyond to meet my needs regardless of my very limited time requirements! I highly recommend and will continue my dental care with them!

I have to say the staff here from the first phone call to walking in to leaving was the most friendly that I’ve ever dealt with. Being military family I’ve gotten the chance to experience many dental offices all over and have gained severe dental anxiety. This office was not in network with my dental insurance but I took a chance and paid a little more and I would do it again because Dr Randall Diez and his staff made getting two crowns done in one day easier and explained things that helped me with my anxiety. They were understanding and very professional. I definitely would recommend anyone to go here if you have anxiety! Because I’ve never felt more come at a dentist office. It means a lot when the professionals take the time to explain the procedures to you versus just jumping right in and doing it.

I had a bridge made many years ago by my former dentist. He was very highly regarded dentist and I paid dearly for that bridge, yet it never looked right to me. The middle tooth was bulbous and stood out like a sore thumb, but I never had a bridge before and just thought this is the way they looked. I had to have this bridge replaced and it was done by Dr. Randall Diaz. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I couldn't believe the difference. The color was spot on and It looked so natural and you could hardly tell it was a bridge. I can smile broadly once more with confidence. I learned an important lesson. Although both dentists do very exceptional work, the lab your dentist chooses to work with is just as important. Dr. Diaz uses a very high end lab and it shows in their finished product.

The staff in the dentist's office is great! I first saw Dr Diaz 20 years ago when I moved to Tampa. After working on the West coast for seven years, I returned to Tampa and to this same dental practice. I especially like Tiffany, the dental hygentist whom I have been seeing for 4 years to do my cleanings. I wouldn't use anyone else for my dental needs.

I'm Burnadette, age 63 and am petrified of dentist....In December I had a Dental issue so went on the hunt for a new dentist....It took me until March abd 4 dentist later to find AMAZINGDentist DR R DIEZ.... From my very first consultation, I felt at ease because I was being heard for the first time... After just one evaluation, the work began and I couldn't be any happier. In just one visit, I left there with this beautiful smile, as you will see in the first picture and 4 weeks later, today May 14th I went in for my permanent upper and I left there feeling absolutely Amazing, Confident and with a Beautiful Smile. If you're like me and have a major fear of dentist & dental work, I must say, this was a most wonderful experience and I have no regrets whatsoever... Look forward to my final visit in June for my permanent lower bridge & today I left with my permanent upper Vanners and Awesome, Beautiful Smile.... I managed to secure a cleaning appointment within the same week, thanks to Dr. Diez's efficient team who streamlined the intake process. I arrived on time for my appointment, encountered no wait, completed the standard paperwork, and was promptly guided to my hygienist. The cleaning was thorough without any aggressive upselling of extra x-rays or nonessential services. Dr. Diez will definitely be my go-to dentist from now on.

**UPDATE** Just went in for another expert cleaning today. Jessica did an awesome job and was absolutely sweet on top of it. Kudos and thanks for another great job. --+ Oh wow! Thank you, I mean sincerely from the bottom of my heart! Great job! I broke a molar on Thursday and my mom said her dentist was really good. Now, I can't afford dental work which is how I ended up with a broken molar in the first place. I usually go to Tampa Family Health, but their waiting room is a COVID-19 pit. The bill at General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa was cheaper than I was quoted at the ghetto dentist and it was all-in-one trip too. They got me in right away. Initially Dr. Diez thought I might need a root canal as well as a crown, but was able to do it without the root canal saving me a significant amount of money! I didn't have to make a second to to come back, the crown was 3D printed right there in the office and fit perfectly. Dr. Diez was very careful not to hurt me and took the extra time I needed to get completely numbed up since I have an odd resistance to the numbing agent. I really appreciate that he worked with me on that. In my experience, dentists can get impatient and start hammering away before the numbing agent takes effect. Dr. Diez made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. There was only one other customer briefly in the waiting room, so I felt like they were very concerned with my health by not exposing me to a potential COVID infection. They all wore masks and cleaned everything. I'm absolutely impressed! I won't be going anywhere else for my dental work.

We have officially found our home town dentist after 4 years of hunting. The office and staff is welcoming, helpful and treat you like family. Dr. Singh and Christina are first class all the way and true. Not sure about you, but I feel like this type of personal service is extremely rare to find these days. I've been to multiple dentist offices in the Tampa Bay Area, but no other office comes close to how they take care of their patients and the difference this place makes in the local community.

Just wanted to update my review to this year. I have gone to Dr. Randall Diez now for 22 years and as my previous review below says. He is the absolute best dentist. But now want to review his son Dr. Michael Diez. I just had him do a crown and was a little nervous because I only trust his father but he was amazing. He did my whole crown in one appointment and it is absolutely perfect. I have had no sensitivity with it and the bite is perfect! This Father, son team are the best dentists u could possibly have. They are amazing at what they do! I feel so blessed to have not only Dr. Randall Diez as my dentist but now his son following in his foot steps. They are both have a wonderful bed side manner, very caring but they also are just excellent dentist in every way, always on the cutting edge!! Now by previous review....Just want to share that Dr. Diez is an amazing dentist. My family has been going to his office for 18 years. We have only had Great experiences. Dr. Diez has never hurt us. He is very patient and compassionate and he does amazing work. I had to have a cap placed on my front tooth because of an injury and was very worried how it would look. Dr. Diez matched it perfectly with my other teeth. He is always on the cutting edge of dentistry, always updating his education. He is also very honest and never does anything u don't need. I trust him completely. I also love Pam and all his office staff. And I hear his son is an amazing dentist as well. I give this office a 5 star perfect rating. Wish all my Drs were like him!❤

I recently visited Michael Diez for an extraction and I must say that he is truly an exceptional dentist. His professionalism and pleasant demeanor are truly commendable. Dr. Diez was patient with me, explaining the entire process in detail and alleviating any anxiety I had leading up to the procedure. What impressed me the most was the fact that my extraction was painless. Dr. Diez made sure that I was comfortable and kept checking in on me throughout the process. Since returning to Tampa from living in L.A. for 24 years (where I had my dentist for 20 years!), I have been looking for my forever dentist here in Tampa & I have now found General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa. Dr. Randall Diez is absolutely the best!... he's thorough, very detailed throughout the whole process of each dental procedure, and a very attentive & understanding dentist for any concerns - and he is conservative in his approach. He removed a Maryland bridge on my left side that had come loose & replaced it with a new tooth bridging the teeth with a crown on each side (one of them avoiding a root canal!). I initially questioned my bite but heeded to his expertise where he said it would improve as it settled in - and he was totally right... it feels so much better overall. I recently had more work done on my right side - a crown on top & the removal & replacement of a mercury filling on bottom. My bite feels even better &, overall, my experience with Dr. Diez has been outstanding! They even call after a procedure to see how you're doing. I also want to mention Tiffany as my cleaning hygienist - she is awesome!! I had been going for cleanings 3 times a year which I think I either didn't need to do or was just on that schedule with other dental offices - I'm back to the regular 2x a year and my teeth are doing great!... Tiffany does a spectacular job! I wholly recommend General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa for the best dental care in Tampa - their service is excellent, they care very much for their patients' comfort & even the entire office staff & other assistants are second to none - Claudia, Julie & Dr. Randal Diez's wife are awesome. It is a choice you should consider because you won't be disappointed - this is my Tampa dentist for good!

What a wonderful experience we had with Dr. Diez as he did my daughter’s front 8 crowns. She had an accident on the volleyball court and had several root canals along with the crowns. Wonderful experience! I first met Dr. Singh and team following an accident in 2020. I had met with numerous dentists and prosthodontists for consultations on restorative treatment, and just couldn't find the right practitioner who I felt had the skill and expertise to really help me, and the genuine caring nature that I needed following a traumatic event - until I met Dr. Singh! He and the entire office put me at ease instantly and gave me the confidence and reassurance that I was going to be ok, and that they were going to make sure of it. This included after-hours phone calls to discuss my treatment plan, preferences, and mitigate concerns - truly uniquely caring and compassionate! More than a year of planning and treatment, and many, many visits later, I couldn't imagine trusting anybody else for my dental health. Priscilla, Dr. Singh, and the entire team always accommodate my schedule, often going to extraordinary effort to make sure I can be seen when I'm in town (visiting from CA) and have continued to provide the highest level of care and service to make sure that I am happy, and my smile remains healthy.

I was looking for a new dentist after covid and a friend referred me to Dr. Mick at General Cosmetic Dentistry. I can’t say enough about this office (Gunn Hwy). It’s refreshing these days to actually have great customer service and a friendly polite voice answer the phones. You don’t feel like you are burdening anyone for making an appointment. Dr. Mick explained everything so thoroughly and wasn’t trying to sell me on procedures I really didn’t need. When I went over my financial plan they worked every angle to find the right financing and answered all my insurance questions. The hygienists are great and personable. My only complaint is I didn’t find them sooner.

This group really is the bomb. Solid. Five. Stars. Consistently! Dr Diez and the entire staff are always pleasant, professional, considerate, helpful. I cannot say enough positive things. *Any* time I’ve gone in for cleanings - every six months! - and cavities - sigh, yes - it’s always a positive experience. This is a great practice. Doctor Mic saved a tooth a few months ago. Today, Dr Diez did a very thorough evaluation of my Dental situation.. He suggested perhaps a three or five tooth bridge to replace the three tooth Bridge currently in place. It's been there many years and may need treatment. The staff is wonderful. Very good communication and technical skills. Hygienist and x-ray technicians were skilled and personable. Great experience. I definitely will be recommending doctors Diez.

After YEARS of not going to the dentist because I was mildly afraid of going, I decided it was time. The first dentist I chose was not great, thus I came to see Dr. Diez. My experience at his office was fantastic. Everyone (front office, hygienist, Dr. Diez) was so kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Diez did a great job with the procedure, and he made sure I was comfortable. He took the time to make sure I was fully educated with what was going on inside of my mouth and he made sure to answer any questions I had. I was given a quote before the procedure so I had an idea of how much I’d be spending beforehand. The hygienist (I don’t remember her name :( ) was also fantastic with me. She took an impression as well as did X-rays (both things I struggle with) and she was so patient and kind with me. Last but not least, Jess, who does insurance and billing stuff, was SO incredibly helpful with talking through the cost of things and the intricacies of insurance. She made sure I was fully aware of the cost of future procedures while being possibly the kindest human ever. I left their office with a plan for future dental work, and with a smile on my face!

What a professional dental experience. From the moment my wife and I entered the office in Lutz, we felt at home. Not to mention the customer service over the telephone; Julie and her crew were natural at their craft of welcoming us to their family for patients. Sara, took me under her care and left no stones unturned in eliminating my anxiety. There was no rush to get me in and out; the right pace was set to allow me to completely understand treatment and payment plans. Pain, what pain! With all the hardware I lost in my mouth, I should be crying like a baby but, Dr. Diez aggressive plan worked; no pain during and after surgery. I have been going to Dr.Diaz for sometime now, and there patient care is excellent. I have gone to other dental offices in the past, and many of them made me feel uncomfortable, especially with invasive procedures. Great experience! The staff is awesome. I called the office for a root canal treatment on Friday June 24th and Jessica ( Insurance Coordinator) managed to schedule a same day apt with such a short notice. She is the best, but they all have a great customer service and their priority is the patients. The office is not covered by my Insurance but I rather to pay more knowing I will be satisfied than pay less for something I know I won’t like or it won’t last. I highly recommend this office. From the Doctors to the staff, they are all 5 stars!!! Thank you Jessica once again for helping me and for being so kind and efficient when I needed the most :)

My daughter goes to school in Tampa , she was dehydrated and fell and chipped her two front teeth. I’m in NJ so you can imagine having your child be 1000 miles away when something awful happens being very scary . I called several dentists in the area not a single receptionist seemed to think it was an emergency situation until I talked to Priscilla, she was a God send she completely understood and got my daughter an appointment the next day . The dentists did an amazing job , my daughter’s smile is as beautiful as it was before. Priscilla took care of my daughter as if she was hers . I can not thank this office enough. He provides what he feels are my best options and lets me decide, and I never get the feeling he's trying to sell me something. The hygienists are top-notch! They are sweet, gentle, and great at explaining what they're doing. The front-office staff is friendly, efficient, and they know what they're doing. The office runs on time too, which shows respect for their patients and staff!

I have been a patient of Dr. Diez since 2015, and i will say this is the best dental practice i have been a patient of. Dr. Diez saved my 4 front teeth after a botched crown procedure from another dental practice. I was in excruciating pain and my crowns fell out. He fixed everything and made my teeth look great. I have used General & Cosmetic Dentistry for crowns, root canals, cavity repair, and cleanings. I can say they are true professionals and artists at their craft.

I had an amazing experience, everyone in the office is extremely nice and welcoming. I have really bad dentist anxiety but everyone made me feel comfortable and safe. Dr. M. Diez fixed my smile-something I’ve been really self conscious about for years! While being very reassuring and comforting. Dr. Diez has been my family’s dentist for nearly 40 years. Many of my friends go to him as well. They have the latest equipment, a friendly well trained staff and a solid team of experienced dental hygienists. If you are looking for implant work, periodontal work or just a normal cleaning, you got to go see Dr. Randall Diez and his office staff. I just received my tooth implant (lower left quad) and it feels amazing. No numbing agent was required because Dr. Diez gave me a step by step documents on how to get the best results. the offices staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. Tampa is very lucky to have him practice in the Gunn Highway area.

I have been a patient of Drs. Diez for several years now. I have to say, this is the very best dental practice in the state. They are so helpful and friendly. .they make you feel like you are part of the family. I love everyone there, from Pam to Melanie (I love how my teeth feel after she gives them a through cleaning) to both Dr. Randall and Dr. Mick.. they are so patient, spending time answering all your questions. Making you feel comfortable and less fearful :). And I have never experienced any pain from any procedures that I had done....had a crown done (loved that I did not have to worry with a temporary till my permanent crown was done..they made it right there), and a root canal done..no pain at all. I started my new journey with them today..I got my Invisalign and am so excited to see how my new smile will look soon... I highly recommend them...they are professional, yet warm and friendly. .I know my teeth are in good hands!

There are Dentists & then there are BETTER Dentists.. I broke a filling & had to get some emergency work done. I had a hard time getting an appointment with anyone for emergency repair. I finally get an appointment and I go to a dentist and he tells me that he's just going to do an evaluation and set up an appointment for someone else to do the repair! I asked him why not do the repair now because it hurts? He said that he couldn't do it! So I just wasted 2 hours driving an extra 40 miles to get to someone that I can get an appointment with but couldn't do anything! I was very upset! I left that office and went straight to Randall Diez. With no appointment I explained the situation to them and to my surprise they accepted me in because they knew I was hurting. I walked in so angry and I left so happy! I cannot say enough about these people , they went out of their way to help me get it taken care of. Now here's the real kicker! I had to have a crown done, where else can you go that is capable of doing the entire job including making the new crown in one appointment! They have the equipment necessary to get this job done in one appointment instead of making someone wait to have the new crown made somewhere else. Not to mention this is a second generation dentist working here. These people have the best bedside manner of any dentist office I've ever been in. I hate the dentist because it always means pain for me and they took the time to take care of me properly and I cannot say thank you enough! Job well done guys!

I am so happy I found this office! I am new(wish) to the Tampa area and had been putting off finding a dentist because I was scared of being judged for having so many dental problems so young. After breaking a front tooth I had no choice but to find someone to fix it and being a completely new patient Dr. Diez fit me in 2 hours after I called, after a Holiday weekend, on a Monday. The entire staff was so friendly and made me feel so welcomed and I really feel that I am in good hands here and will finally get the smile I've been wanting. Family owned practice (father & son). I would highly recommend Dr. Mick (the son) and the whole team. I have been seeing Dr. Mick for a few years now and have had A LOT of work done. A plus I found is they do same day crowns so none of this two appointment BS for a crown. They are caring, kind, knowledgeable, and flexable. Never a long wait to get in especially when you're in pain or there is an emergency. They always explain what they are doing and look out for your well being. They take their time and sit with you to go over a treatment plan and finances. I have never been dissatisfied. If you're looking for a dentist, try this practice. You won't be disappointed.

This has to be one of the nicest dentist offices I’ve ever been to. I went in as an emergency because of the pain I was having. They were quick to get me in and offered 2 different options for treatment. Michael Diez & his assistant were awesome! I've been going to GCD for about a year and some change now and honestly I'm pretty mad I hadn't made the switch sooner. This practice is very warm, welcoming, and has a strong sense of professionalism and family. So far I've had two procedures done at this facility and it was well worth everything. One being total wisdom teeth removal and the other being a root canal+crown with a separate filling. Dr. Randall Diez was very meticulous, swift and best of all gentle. I didn't feel a thing during or EVEN AFTER the procedure. To feel nothing after a root canal is incredible. No headache, no discomfort, nada. The crown was even made IN HOUSE in all of about 30 minutes and needed no adjustment. It was perfect. Clearly the staff at this establishment are forged professionals and most importantly human beings who give 100% of their time, dedication, and expertise to their patrons. If you need to know something, they'll tell you; if you want to know something, they'll tell you. The fleet is very transparent and hides zero information from it's customers. If you're looking for real dentistry, then stop scrolling and click on this place 'cause these guys are the real deal. Stop trusting a hack with a photo shopped degree with your teeth, and make the upgrade to the golden standard of Dentistry. You deserve it.

If someone had told me I would ever go to at a dental group that didn’t use nitrous I would have laughed. This group is so gentle I was amazed and so grateful. I have had unattractive caps for years and didn’t know I could improve them. Dr. Singh is an artist. The temps were amazing and now the perms are gorgeous. I am so grateful to the entire team. I will not go anywhere else for my dental health needs. I have been a patient of Dr. Diez since the early to mid 90's. I had very serious gum disease and Dr. Diez along with my periodontist were able to do gum surgery and literally build bridges to save my teeth. IT WORKED! As it stands, I am at 23 years post surgery/treatment and they are still holding strong. After my initial diagnosis, I sought 2nd opinions at 2 different practices and both of them said they could not even accomplish what Dr. Diez did. They said I would need dentures and partials. They were wrong! I cannot stress enough the quality of work that was done. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dr. Diez had to replace a crown that another dentist had done incorrectly twice. The visit to replace my crown was quick and easy. They made my new tooth right on property the same day. I didn't know a crown was supposed to fit and feel so well.
